The Problem With Adding a Company to My Portfolio

Boring companies in many cases can become powerful compounders, especially if you find the right one with the right business model. Intuit looks like an old company that offers some tax software? How much more boring can you get? I actually do not believe that Intuit is a boring tech company; this is an incredibly competitive and fierce industry.
