The tyrant's son doesn't have the right kind of soul for Plato's teaching. And there's some habeasian stuff there. He sells Plato into slavery, and then Plato's friends have to buy him and set him free. The laws is admitting that you, at least in Plato's case, he couldn't. So maybe Socrates should have just been a little bit quieter.
