The difference between kind and wicked learning. David epstein, which one of our listeners referred me to, did a podcast in which he referred to research done by three people on the difference between kind or wicked learning. Kind learning is where the teacher teaches and then tests the student, and the questions on the test matchw what the teacher so as a student, you get kindly taught stuff that you then show that you know it. Wicked learning is where there is a mismatch between what you are taught and what happens in the real world That doesn't fit the theory that you expected because of the teaching you got. And wicked learning means you've got to make ces re figure it out. It
