The Gifts of Spiritual Equity

I don't think we can ever get above the fray of history or have a standpoint outside of time. I do suggest that there's one way that you can almost cheat and it's to have friends who are older than you. When I hear from co pilgrims fellow pilgrims who are 30 years ahead of me, in some ways they are reporting from the future because they have undergone seasons that maybe I haven't even yet seen coming. And if I can get to a place of humbly listening and hearing from them, it does create possibility of expectation in me. It's almost like time drop, but the gifts of spiritual equity.
