Neflix has been criticized for favoring its own content. A big reason for spending billions of dollars on original content is that other media companies have been taking their own popular programming back from netflicks. Neflix doesn't own the office, and at the end of this year, it's going to lose it to nbc which does. This is about making sure that people can see for themselves.
