The Police Are Quick to Weaponize Misconduct
The right to be forgotten has been weaponized as early as 19 76 by public officials in new york state to cover up their misconduct. The police have excelled at this type of rhetoric and have really taken that ball and ran with it, says Cune Law Professor John Moya-Smith. As we participate in conversations about this right, we should consider who has the resources to fight for their records to be erased, he adds.
