Speaking Slowly Can Make You More Confident in an Interview

No matter how nervous you are or how badly you think you're doing, try to relax. It's okay to pause and your interviewer will be more likely to remember what you say if you take some breaks here and there. When we speak fast, our pitch gets a bit higher; when we speak slower, we're in a lower pitch.
