Paul's Letter to the Roman Catholic Church

Paul is writing this letter when he is back in antioch, which, as the church, was living the truth. He will soon be describing the overarching divine purpose in quite a challenging way. The rival teachers have accused him of inventing a new system Quite alien to israel's biblical faith and story. Paul says, no, what's happened in jesus is the work of israel's god, the creator. It isn't some new idea that would leave israel's scriptural story behind and head off in a quite different direction.
