Schizophrenia: A Type of Personality Disorder
The biggest thing about the schizotypals is they often gravitate to drug use and that's usually a contributing factor for people already at risk of developing the disorder. These folks oftentimes have addiction and they self-medicate. Therapy aimed at helping the person with the disorder establishing a solitary satisfying existence is really more of the type of goal you go for with this type of person.
