How to Structure Overlap Time for Physical Therapists
For too long, the clinical partner role has been undervalued by academic institutions. Academic institutions have lived in their ivory towers and thinking, will we teach everybody everything they need to know? And we just need to get these 32 weeks or 30 weeks of clinical training behind them. So I think a lot of this, honestly, I mean, I don't know how the other professions do it. But it's like onboarding. Like how can we more seamlessly do onboarding to allow somebody to step in, so to speak, easier that requires less time and attention from the CI.
