The beauty of treating your platform as a product is that all the product best practices that we've learned in product management in the last few decades apply. A good platform is not designed for the strongest link in the chain, but for the weakest one. And so when you are designing that, make sure that you ask, obviously, like a diverse group of people individually - and it's really interesting to see how Slack has taken on this challenge.
