Borja: Borges was trying actively and deliberately to redefine the literature of Argentina, which is an ambitious call. She says his love for conception became politicized by mother's prejudices. Borja: He wrote a poem called fervor de Buenos Aires that came out around this time in his life. "I'm not quick enough to attain my weaknesses," he writes about himself.
