The Census of Israel

The census is not for property tax. It's for popularly used for some of those purposes as well. But I think the main idea is that Israel is being kind of separated out into military units. Now has there been any hint that this is what would happen for the people of Israel, that they would be engaging in sort of large-scale warfare? Well when they came out of Egypt, you know, they were sent a certain route because the Lord didn't want them to encounter war.
