The Mayday Holiday in China: A Golden Week
China has been celebrating the mayday holiday period and they're calling it a golden week. Spending is surged past pre-pandemic levels for the first time travel has soared to with 274 million trips taken within china just to give you a comparison that's 71 more than a year ago. A current joins us now and i think we have to remember for many people this is the first time in what three years that they've been able to travel like this without fear of catching covid, she says.
