There's some interesting stuff on etherium, but it's just not very useable. There is a way to do bicoin privacy, which i don't think it's a useful way. With coin join you're essentially creating a transaction such athat you break the deterministic links. And there's no way for someone looking on chain to say, this fund is tied to this one. The only real problem with dismanic resistant mining in manero is that anyone who doesn't know its base protocol can mind-control their phone or computer using an asic resistent circuit.
