LACC: A Controversial Golf Course

I prefer wide fairways and punishment for missing them. I've got to say from a players perspective, it worked seamlessly. It was very easy venue to get in and out for us. There were easily the best greens I've ever seen at a major - especially at a US Open. They were pure the whole week. Probably the heaviest roof. Oftentimes you couldn't hit it 80 yards in the air out of the roof. So yeah, I've gotto say much prefer that sort of test narrow fairways.
