What Are the Attitudes of Central Asian Peoples in China?
There's obviously a lot of prejudice that goes in both directions. Chinese companies, when we talk to contractors and Chinese firms that were trying to do projects there, one of the questions that would always come up would be like, well, why you bring in Chinese workers? And they said, well, you know, they work really hard, and they will live in poor conditions. They just want the paycheck, get the project done, and then go back home. Whereas they're like, for higher locals, it's going to cost me,. You know what I mean? So, they would just kind of get a pass. It plays into a funny way in terms of the sort of relationship
