What Is a Cluster Index in a MySQL Database?

The way wire tigers store the database is completely changed. It's no longer using this disk clock thing, right? Where it's just a bunch of data file and then you have offset because offsets are really terrible. So what they did instead, they started as a cluster B3 index. They have something called the record ID here and you can basically create anything. This is a hidden index, cluster index into wire tiger. And based on the key, you can search and when you get here, the value is actually the entire document - not only a document.
