The bowling family said that Russell would have been particularly vulnerable to manipulation like this, because he had a speech disorder. It could be very possible that this cult somehow found out about Russell's interest and his archives of all this artwork, and maybe they wanted to silence him or get rid of it. Or there is the possibility that maybe Russell tried to join this cult. Maybe he was successful. Maybe he's with them right now. Or maybe he tried to join them, andmaybe they killed him for knowing too much. I just can't think what Russell might have been doing for two hours that morning before he arrived at Benton Cliffs. Like what else could he have been doing other than
