i think we can look to the desert fathers and mothers who wandered off into the desert and preserved the life. They faced down the idols of their day and resisted them, and they preserved something worth preserving. And so my great passion is that the church would become desert fathers andmothers in the middle of the city. But that we could continue to in environments like this, where the church thrives, historically, but very intentionally, be formed by another story.
