The Reason I'm a Fan, Is Because of This Very Thing

I worry more than anything else that, in our rush to be certain, have lost our ability to discern. We look back just a hundred and 50 years. What were we thinking? How could we imagine the idea of owning another human being? Maybe you didn't see them as human beings. But i think one of the things that you hit on was that's not true either. They knew they were human beings thousand years ago. Of course they know it. It was just so inculcated in the way progress happened  that it was baked into the whole thing.
