Zohan: A Summer Comedy Construct

There's just enough Hutspa to Zohan to keep it amusing and sporadically uproarious. The movie may not win Sandler many new fans, but it's a baby step toward making comedies with a bit more substance than say the Waterboy. As a remedy for the midi swoze, American pluralism might be slightly impractical, but as a premise for a summer comedy, it's real enough to be funny. Some hard little grains of truth make this Sandler's funniest movie since the Water Boy.
