Joab's Just Going to Do What Needs to Be Done

Joab has passed the point of caring what David thinks. He doesn't think that David's going to make good decisions for himself, and so Joab's just going to do what needs to be done. The strange thing about this whole incident is if memory serves me correctly, it never comes up in this context. So I guess David at this point just kind of resigns himself to the fact that he's going to have to deal with This guy to live with Joab.
