Do You Have a Templet for Questions About Dativs?

Do you have a list of questions, or a templet that you work off of as your consulting with people? I do and i don't. The first question is always like, who is the audience? What do you want them to know? Are they policy makers? Are they researchers? Like, who is it? And then, like, it's always like, is it important for the reader to see the exact values, right?
