This week we're talking with eric jacobis. He's a professional stunt man and motion designer, action designer for movies and video games. But he also has a long running intellectual project organized around what he calls the art of violence. It's basically a theory of violence and a theory of how we perceive violence. And it draws on rene gerard, it draws on the anthropology of eric gans. This is chock full of very stimulating, bold hypotheses, and i think you are really going to enjoy it.
