Toam does such a great job of making us feel pity for him. I mean, how could you not? Sam cannot sam im? Not sam canno. And i have to think that's one of the reasons that he gives us these two characters in one smezel and gallum. You've got smegel that you do pity, but then gallum, who is constantly a threat. It sounds kind of cliche to say, but it's like, you never know which one you're going to get,. That's true. And noly opens his mouth and he starts talking. And if you pay attention, you can usually tell which one is talking.
