"I disappeared into a time hole that started on the morning that I had the heart attack," he said. "My experience was not like a traditional, you know, near-death experience." The actor says his character knows what it's like to resent someone and wants them to love him or her but then can't do it. He doesn't see how there's any other way to act than by using your own experiences.
