Herman Goering's Life in the Cold
Herman Goering grew up with a ridiculous, almost cartoonish view of the world. Von Eppenstein's wealth and status gave him a childhood most boys his age could only dream of. Now in post-war Germany, he's still a well-known public figure, but his martial values have slipped out of fashion. He insists on wearing his military regalia in day-to-day life, even in places where the army is less than popular. In Sweden, Goering becomes a star acrobat flyer. At least he can feel the acclaim of the crowds. But once you've seen one air show, you've seen them all.
