He says self-described libertarians opposed immigration because of public education, welfare or any other problems created by anti-capitalist policy have been led astray. The answer to immigrants imposing some cost on public education and the welfare state is not to get rid of the immigrants, it's to reform or abolish welfare in public education, he writes.
