The Importance of Animators

Pixar animators typically want to write their own stuff. I've been involved in two different things that never got to the finish line or one didn't get to the finished line with me. The way these films are typically made in Pixar as well is, you know, they might write a screenplay of some sort. In Pixar, they bring it to the brain trust which is like an all star team of all their directors and producers.
