TC Bolts? What's in It for Engineers?
TC bolts can be pre-tensioned or fully tightened before the connection goes live. Engineering will have snug tight connections where the bolt is inserted into the hole and the bolts only tighten enough to bring the steel plies into firm contact. Some people occasionally use TC bolts to snug with anyway because they're tooled up for it.
