The clock speed of humanity has generally increased. It's increased because thetechol s of learning that have enabled learning, from oral communication to writing things down and codifying them. What should slow down is the rat race the am a just in time a supply of goods that the pendemic showed is fragile and brittle. I think that sharp, progressive taxation needs to be part of this. That we used to have limits on wealth in democracies, especially in the immediate postward period, no reason that shouldn't come back.
