What Do You Do When You're on a Team?
In the book takin about y givers. What you're describing is a team of of of givers. But if that's mixed in with people who want to get credit, who wo want to talk instantly,. They want to make sure that they're the one that the light's shining on If it goes well, but that if it goes bad, they want to be blamed. Like, what do you do when you have one or two of those mixed in with a group and a team that you're on where you ultimately can't making a firing type decision? You're just a member of the team. Yif your in that situation, there is actually not much you can do

The thesis of Talent is Overrated is that the greatest achievers succeed through endless "deliberate practice." Colvin characterizes it as "Hitting an eight-iron 300 times with a goal of leaving the ball within 20 feet of the pin 80 percent of the time, continually observing results and making appropriate adjustments, and doing that for hours every day - that's deliberate practice."
Colvin is the brother of singer/songwriter Shawn Colvin. Shawn is a female most known for her Grammy Winning Single “Sunny Came Home.”
