The Importance of Relationship Status in Queer Underground Action
Erin and Paul are the co-founders of REAP, a nonprofit that fights for students' rights at religious institutions. Erin grew up in an evangelical church but left after going through conversion therapy. Paul has been practicing law for about 13 years; he started doing pro bono representation to queer and trans students who were getting expelled sent to conversion therapy harassed. "I really want to make sure that nobody goes through what I went through," says Paul.
