Do Farmers Have to Make a Decision About Exporting Soybean?
I was wondering actually you know we're talking about moving things like soybeans down the river so that they can get exported to markets like China and elsewhere. So how much of the grains that are moving through the Mississippi, how much of that goes to the US versus the rest of the world? I'd say 13 15% of like the corn in the United States goes for export. The majority of that gets used in house for between ethanol feed of animals and just other domestic food products. That's why there's such a big on this not only is it our time to ship beans and to get them out it's where we're the most competitive.
