In the fifties and sixties, Chinese universities produced their own internal text books on political line struggles. The texts had a small selection of some of the stuff that you ware supposed to despise and denounce. They reprinted relevant material but it was always edited down. This is how i got an education first from the mas perspective and then from the anti mas perspective. I e, we can learn from the things that we denounce by studying them, picking them ap and denouncing them.
