What Is Awakening?
To embark on the spiritual journey in a life is really a, as i mentioned yesterday, it's a shift of a ground and figure. What was figured becomes ground, what was ground becomes figure. And a spiritual life is one where you see the meaning of your birth, your incarnation, your work on earth, as having to do with your awakening. It isn't having to do primarily with security, with with a pleasure, with the things that you generally most people think life is about. That's what usually is figure.
