The Assassination of Ramesses III
Ramesses III selected his son by Taiti, his sister wife, to succeed him. Another of his wives, called T.A., was not impressed and decided to do something about it. She colluded with the chief of the chamber to Ramesses called Pebecarman. The purpose was to overthrow the regime of Ramesses III and put T.A.'s own son, Pentaware, on the throne. Other concubines of the Harim also became involved - some were blood related to rulers of considerable connections of the Egyptian Empire such as Nubia.
