The Case of Virginia Carpenter

Jack Zachary was cleared of all responsibility for Virginia Carpenter's disappearance. The woman he kidnapped decided not to testify against him and the case went cold again. In 1998, an anonymous caller claimed that two men raped and murdered Virginia Carpenter. They said her body was buried underneath a dam but they didn't find anything.
