Anchoring Anchors - How to Make Sure You're Using the Right Anchor
Most people anchor from the stern and tie the bow up to the rocks. We use a bruce anchor that is slightly undersized for the boat, but still pretty big. And then we usually have like a length of chain, maybe 20 feet long, that's somewhere in the cockpit. That's very easy to put in your dingy and pay out the dynama. If you're going to have a piece of equipment on the boat, make sure it's useful and the right size.
