Why Waves of Seaweed Are Smothering Caribbean Beaches
Waves of seaweed have been smothering caribbean beaches against from july 20 nineteenth by ed yong. Sargasum patches can appear as hot spots in the ocean that can be seen from space. A climate change is certainly a key aspect of this, as it impacts precipitation and ocean circulation. But increased water temperatures specifically, don't seem to be the cause. It's these other factors they get into that are probably contributing - like what the different temperatures are this year.
