We need knowledge of the tricks of the enemy, and we need knowledge of our own self. St. Ignatius said that the enemy is like an invading general. So when people fall on their faces with really stupid sin, you know, there's a weakness in your defenses. You've got to find out where that is, and you've got to fix those defenses.
