Nick mc guffin goes to sherry's house and he shows up with every expectation of picking up his girl friend, lea. Only he learns about this argument, and he learns that she is left. This is a reasonable thing i think almost anyone would do, especially when you can't shoot a text to people. He talks about how he was concerned and how he was driving around looking for her.
