As o, jess ii, she she is me. I was that narty kid who went to the tip and brought stuff home. So i knew i had that to draw on to make her character. And also, you know, my life is a little bit like hers,. She goes to do a master's degree, and then she gets off at a job that's too good to turn down. Suddenly she's got a life she didn't expect to have. In a way, ok, i'll admit it, a slight authoreal laziness, because i knew who she was, and i didn't have to make her up. What compels you to write?
