The Parthenon and the Duvene Gallery
I used to think that the Duvene Gallery was magnificent. I've heard the Greeks describe it as a sort of sad and dull windowless building. And where they are in the British Museum, at first I was shocked by that because I always thought how marvellous that gallery was. But then I have to say when I went back and revisited it, having seen them at the Acropolis Museum, it did look a bit sad and dull and windowless to be frank.
