Transhumanism is the idea that human minds, if they can be transferred to computers, will provide a superior intelligence. This has been going around for some time and was first posited by an astrophysicist called immortality. The other emphasis is that the human will eventually form a community mind in ciber space, and will bring other animal life forms into it. They really believe that the siber world is a way and avenue into enchantment.
