Running is a fairly one dimensional sport. You know, we are running as hard as we can straight ahead. That's pretty much the sport of running. So for example, if you have this background in more body building oriented strength training, you know how to engage all your muscles because you have been isolating those muscles in the gim. And then my own experiences is just seeing that hen you can have a better mind muscle connection with your muscles during a run. I mean, i think one of the big benefits of strength training is improving your coordination and that sort of like this big broad word "coordination"
