Longfellow's Wreck of the Haspris
Longfellow was the most popular poet in America for a long time. Poems like wreck of the Haspris were favorites for declamation, which was apparently a pastime people engaged in 19th century. For television, we had to make our own fun. Like save poetry, make it fourth to one another.
