The Rich Man Is Harder to Get to Heaven Than to Put a Camel Through a Needless Eye
There's a whole lot of Old Testament stuff that Jesus did not explicitly reject, he says. The rich man is harder to get to heaven than to put a camel through a needles eye by the way, which is actually a misquotation. Of course, there are portraits too, in both books of nasty people, exploiting widows and orifices. And they're damned and they're attacked by the prophets and so forth. But it's the case that Judaism and Islam are much less critical of the economy than Christianity has been.
