I think it's an incredible sort of shifting moment, isn't it? Moving away from the slickness of television back to standing on a soapbox and communicating and then winning. But I guess the question that comes out of that is, would that still be possible today? Or do you think we've now entered a completely new political media landscape where that form of direct communication has become almost irrelevant? It was a novelty value in 92 that was so effective, I think, because people thought that politicians were growing away from the public. So it was a really wonderful moment where you suddenly rediscovered your genuine authenticity as a politician.
